Florida Licensed Triage Nurse

Job Summary

To provide individualized care and clinical guidance, the full-time Florida Licensed Triage Nurse will triage oncology patient calls, monitor symptom management, and manage complex patient care while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Triages oncology patient calls regarding treatment, surgery, and appointment information
• Monitors and manages patient symptoms to minimize emergency department visits and inpatient readmissions
• Facilitates communication among the multidisciplinary cancer care team to ensure coordinated patient care

Required qualifications

• Registered Nurse multistate or Florida single state licensure required
• Minimum of an Associate Degree in Nursing; Bachelor's Degree preferred
• Three years or more of experience as a registered nurse, with at least two years in oncology
• Certification as an Oncology Certified Nurse (OCN) preferred
• Strong telephonic assessment and communication skills
