Florida Licensed Triage Nurse
Job Summary
To provide essential patient support through remote communication, the full-time Florida Licensed Triage Nurse will gather patient information, conduct assessments, and determine appropriate care levels while working night shifts with every other weekend requirement.
Key responsibilities
- Respond promptly to incoming calls and triage symptoms to assess care needs
- Provide home care instructions and document patient encounters in the Electronic Medical Record
- Participate in ongoing training and maintain current nursing licensure and skills
Required qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing with a current Registered Nurse Multi-State License
- Minimum of 5+ years of recent clinical experience in critical care, emergency, or telephonic triage
- Participation in continuing education programs
- Strong computer skills, including proficiency with EMR systems and Microsoft Office Suite
- Ability to work under stress and make independent nursing decisions
