Florida Licensed Triage RN

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Triage RN to provide telephonic support to patients and families.

Key Responsibilities

• Triage phone calls and ensure efficient handling of callers' needs with excellent customer service
• Provide telephone advice and education for patient needs, coordinating in-person visits when necessary
• Accurately document patient information and communicate with the Interdisciplinary Group (IDG)

Required Qualifications

• Current Florida or multi-state RN license, with the ability to obtain a multi-state license within 30 days of hire
• Minimum of one year of nursing experience; hospice or hospital experience preferred
• Previous experience with EMR/EHR systems
• Ability to manage the emotional stress of caring for terminally ill patients and their families
• Availability to work shifts accommodating extended hours of operation as scheduled
