Florida Licensed Triage RN

Job Summary

Providing telephonic support to patients and families, the full-time Florida Licensed Triage RN will triage calls, offer advice, and ensure efficient handling of inquiries in a remote setting.

Key responsibilities

• Triages phone calls and addresses callers' needs with excellent customer service
• Provides telephone advice and education, coordinating in-person visits when necessary
• Accurately documents patient information in the electronic medical record (EMR) and communicates with the Interdisciplinary Group (IDG)

Required qualifications

• Current Florida RN compact (Multi-state) License; California RN License preferred
• Minimum of one (1) year nursing experience; hospice or hospital experience preferred
• Experience with EMR/EHR systems
• Ability to work flexible shifts, including nights and weekends
• Strong patient service skills and ability to manage emotional stress in a healthcare environment
