Florida Licensed Triage RN

Job Summary

Providing telephonic support to patients and families, the full-time Florida Licensed Triage RN will triage calls, offer advice, and ensure efficient handling of inquiries in a remote setting.

Key responsibilities

• Triages phone calls and addresses patient needs with excellent customer service
• Provides telephone advice and education, coordinating in-person visits as necessary
• Accurately documents patient information in the electronic medical record (EMR) system

Required qualifications

• Florida RN compact (multi-state) license required; California RN license preferred
• Minimum of one year of nursing experience, preferably in hospice or hospital settings
• Experience with EMR/EHR systems
• Ability to work shifts accommodating extended hours of operation
• Strong patient service skills and ability to handle stressful situations professionally
