Florida Licensed Triage RN

Job Summary

Providing telephonic support to patients and families, the part-time Florida Licensed Triage RN will triage calls, offer advice, and ensure timely handling of inquiries while working remotely.

Key responsibilities:

• Triages phone calls and addresses callers' needs using excellent customer service skills
• Provides telephone advice and education for patient needs while documenting information in the electronic medical record (EMR)
• Coordinates in-person visits when necessary and ensures effective communication with the Interdisciplinary Group (IDG)

Required qualifications:

• Current Florida or multi-state RN license, with the ability to obtain a multi-state license within 30 days of hire
• Minimum of one year of nursing experience, preferably in hospice or hospital settings
• Experience with EMR/EHR systems
• Ability to communicate effectively in English; bilingual in Spanish preferred
• Strong clinical and assessment skills, with the ability to manage stressful situations professionally
