Job Summary

To support a growing legal practice, the full-time Florida Licensed Trial Attorney will manage all aspects of insurance defense litigation, including bodily injury and property damage lawsuits, while working remotely from Miami, FL.

Key responsibilities

• Manage insurance defense litigation from case inception to verdict, ensuring favorable outcomes for clients
• Gather and organize legal documents and evidence, preparing for hearings, trials, and depositions
• Conduct legal research and prepare summaries and reports on relevant laws and case precedents

Required qualifications

• Juris Doctorate and active membership in good standing with the Florida State Bar
• Successful completion of courses focused on legal research, writing, and analysis
• Strong organizational skills for managing case files and understanding the discovery process
• Fundamental negotiation techniques and strategies for client interactions
• Ability to commute to courthouses throughout the Miami, FL area
