Job Summary
Monitoring the quality and accuracy of the cancer registry database, the full-time Certified Tumor Registrar Quality Coordinator will ensure compliance with accreditation standards, oversee quality assurance programs, and prepare statistical reports while working remotely.
Key responsibilities
- Monitor the quality, accuracy, and completeness of the cancer registry database
- Create and oversee a quality assurance program to ensure data integrity and compliance with accreditation standards
- Prepare and present statistical reports for management and assist in preparation for accreditation surveys and audits
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or at least 60 college-level credits
- Oncology Data Specialist (ODS) certification
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as an Oncology Data Specialist
- Experience with cancer registry software, specifically CRStar
- Thorough knowledge of cancer program accreditation standards and state reporting requirements
