Job Summary

To support patient care in a fully remote capacity, the part-time Florida Licensed Ultrasound Technologist will perform high-quality diagnostic ultrasound exams, ensuring optimal image quality and patient comfort while maintaining accurate documentation and collaborating with healthcare providers.

Key responsibilities

• Performs diagnostic ultrasound exams according to provider orders and departmental protocols
• Maintains accurate documentation within electronic medical record (EMR) and PACS systems
• Educates patients about procedures and ensures their comfort and cooperation throughout the exam

Required qualifications

• Florida Licensed Ultrasound Technologist with relevant certifications (e.g., RDMS, RVT)
• Basic Life Support - CPR Certification (BLS)
• Graduate from an accredited ultrasound program
• 1+ years of work experience in ultrasound preferred
• Knowledge of ultrasound physics and anatomy, with the ability to perform procedures independently
