Job Summary

Underwriting new and renewal business, the full-time Florida Licensed Underwriter will manage a multi-person team, ensure compliance with company guidelines, and maintain excellent relationships with clients while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Underwrite new and renewal business, meeting or exceeding production goals
• Supervise a team, ensuring effective communication of pertinent information
• Monitor accounts for compliance and assess production metrics to minimize risk

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or appropriate insurance designation
• Three years of experience in the production and marketing of new accounts
• Must be licensed in corresponding areas of insurance
• Ability to understand and analyze components of insurance policies
• Knowledge of commercial multi-line underwriting and rating
