Florida Licensed Underwriting Analyst

Job Summary

A company is looking for an Underwriting Analyst to evaluate health benefit data and set risk-based pricing.

Key Responsibilities

• Evaluate data submitted from businesses for PEO health benefits
• Set risk-based pricing and secure missing information
• Manage data entry into underwriting tools and oversee the peer-review process

Required Qualifications

• 3-5 years of experience underwriting medical risk in the individual and/or small group health market
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
• Ability to quickly learn new processes
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Working knowledge of the Affordable Care Act is desirable
