Florida Licensed Underwriting Representative

Job Summary

Providing exceptional service to policyholders and agents, the full-time Florida Licensed Underwriting Representative will manage a high volume of inbound calls, assist with underwriting inquiries, and coordinate administrative tasks in a fully remote environment.

Key responsibilities:

• Manage inbound calls from policyholders and agents, addressing inquiries and providing underwriting assistance
• Review submissions and make underwriting decisions based on received documents while maintaining compliance with guidelines
• Educate customers and agents on policy details, coverage options, and premium calculations while ensuring accurate record-keeping

Required qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent; some college coursework preferred
• Minimum 2 years of customer service experience, preferably in a call center within the insurance industry
• Florida 4-40/2-20 Property and Casualty General Lines License is a plus
• Bilingual candidates are highly desirable
• Familiarity with underwriting processes and insurance regulations is preferred
