Job Summary
To enhance educational outcomes, the full-time Florida Literacy Implementation Specialist will facilitate professional development experiences, support literacy initiatives, and collaborate with various teams while working 100% remotely.
Key responsibilities
- Facilitate and support professional development learning experiences for educators, both virtually and in-person
- Design and implement intensive literacy-related training for school administrators, coaches, and teachers
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the delivery of research-based educational products and services
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in an appropriate area and four years of relevant experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- Experience in early childhood language and literacy or K-12 literacy teaching/professional development
- Familiarity with online learning environments
- Strong content knowledge in the Science of Reading and/or the Science of Early Childhood instruction
- Skills and experience in coaching and/or mentoring
