Job Summary

Processing and submitting third-party claims, the full-time Hospice Medicare Billing and Collections Representative will manage denial resolutions and account reconciliations while working remotely from Florida.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and submit accurate billing to third-party payors and self-pay invoices
• Conduct root cause analysis on unpaid accounts receivable and resolve issues with third-party payors
• Handle customer service calls to resolve billing inquiries and technical denial appeals

Required qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED
• Minimum of one year of medical billing and collection experience
• Knowledge of third-party billing and state and federal collection regulations preferred
• Ability to prioritize and multi-task independently with minimal supervision
• Accurate typing and data entry skills
