Job Summary

Accountable for managing hospital and physician provider contracting functions, the full-time Florida Provider Contracting Director will execute market strategies to improve medical costs and drive profitable growth while collaborating with key partners in a dynamic healthcare environment.

Key responsibilities

• Lead technical operations of contracting functions, including service area analysis and physician contracting
• Develop and implement market strategies in partnership with leadership from Sales, Underwriting, and Medical Economics
• Manage provider relationships and execute market-based total medical cost plans to enhance provider and member satisfaction

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree; MBA or Master's in Healthcare Administration preferred
• Minimum of 10 years of managed healthcare experience
• Extensive experience in provider contracting and network development with complex hospital systems
• Strong knowledge of managed care finance and regulatory compliance issues
• Proven ability to foster collaboration and drive organizational change
