Florida Surveillance Informatician

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Surveillance Informatician to join their public health team in Florida.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct data analyses and design projects using outbreak data
• Lead the Outbreak Re-design project to modernize data collection processes
• Develop and implement automated processes for outbreak data quality checks

Required Qualifications

• Master of Public Health or equivalent graduate degree in a health-related field
• Two years of experience in disease surveillance and surveillance systems
• One year of outbreak surveillance experience
• One year of experience with statistical analysis software packages such as SAS, R Studio, and SQL Management Studio
• Two years of experience with Microsoft Office Suite, with advanced skills in Excel preferred
