Florida Trust Accounting Specialist

Job Summary

The full-time Florida Trust Accounting Specialist will validate, reconcile, and monitor client trust transactions to ensure compliance with State Bar requirements while working remotely in a detail-oriented and process-driven environment.

Key responsibilities

• Review and validate trust disbursement requests against settlement statements and supporting documentation
• Perform client-level trust reconciliations in accordance with applicable State Bar requirements across all active state jurisdictions
• Research and resolve discrepancies, outstanding checks, and exception items within established SLAs

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field, or equivalent experience
• 3+ years of experience in accounting, financial analysis, or related financial functions
• Strong understanding of accounting principles, reconciliations, and financial controls
• Intermediate to advanced Excel skills, including PivotTables and working with large datasets
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to work cross-functionally
