Job Summary

A company is looking for a Workers' Compensation Claims Adjuster to investigate and evaluate Florida Workers' Compensation claims.

Key Responsibilities

• Evaluate claims to determine compensability and total value, and set reserves accordingly
• Initiate investigations, assign defense counsel, and ensure timely indemnity payments
• Monitor medical treatment, review medical bills, and coordinate vocational rehabilitation services

Required Qualifications

• 3-5 years of Lost Time/Legal claims handling experience; preferred 5+ years
• Possess FL-All Lines Adjuster or Workers' Compensation License and maintain CEU credits
• Previous experience with settling claims
• Experience with Microsoft Office Suite
• Proactive and independent with a strong ability to follow through
