Flowable Engineer

Job Summary

To design and implement workflow automation solutions, the remote Flowable Engineer will develop and maintain BPMN, DMN, and CMMN process models while collaborating with stakeholders to streamline processes and integrate enterprise systems.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement business workflows using the Flowable BPMN engine
• Build custom workflow applications and services using Java/Spring Boot and integrate Flowable with enterprise systems
• Troubleshoot workflow execution issues and optimize process performance while maintaining documentation and technical specifications

Required qualifications

• 3+ years of software engineering experience
• Hands-on experience with Flowable BPM and strong knowledge of BPMN 2.0, DMN, and process automation concepts
• Proficiency in Java, Spring Boot, REST APIs, and SQL databases
• Familiarity with containerized deployments (Docker/Kubernetes) and experience integrating enterprise systems
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders
