Job Summary
A company is looking for a FOIA Project Manager to oversee all aspects of the Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) and Privacy program operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead day-to-day FOIA/Privacy program operations, ensuring timely and accurate request processing
- Oversee intake, search, review, redaction, and response processes for FOIA requests
- Implement quality control procedures and identify risks for operational improvement
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Public Administration, Information Systems, Legal Studies, or related field, or four years of relevant experience in lieu of a degree
- Minimum of three years managing teams or federal support operations
- At least one year supporting FOIA, records management, privacy, or compliance programs
- Experience with FOIA tracking systems and related tools
- PMP preferred; Lean Six Sigma or Records Management certifications are a plus
