Job Summary

Supporting the Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) program, the full-time FOIA Records Analyst will review, analyze, redact, and release responsive records while ensuring compliance with applicable statutes and regulations in a fully remote environment.

Key responsibilities
  • Review and process FOIA requests, ensuring accurate and timely responses
  • Redact records in accordance with FOIA regulations and prepare documents for disclosure
  • Communicate with requesters and stakeholders to clarify requests and provide updates
Required qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Public Policy, Health, Regulatory, Information Science, Legal Studies, or a related field (or equivalent work experience)
  • 4-8 years of experience with FOIA requests, information disclosure, or records management preferred
  • Strong analytical skills for evaluating release and redaction actions
  • Proficiency with Adobe Acrobat Pro and electronic redaction tools
  • Ability to manage multiple requests in a deadline-driven environment
