Follow Up and Denial Representative

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Follow up and Denial Representative - Remote.

Key Responsibilities

• Research and resolve uncollected account balances by contacting third-party payors and patients
• Document account actions and maintain productivity goals while ensuring compliance with regulations
• Assist with special projects and communicate findings to improve account resolution processes

Required Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent; some college coursework in business administration or accounting preferred
• 1-4 years of medical claims and/or hospital collections experience
• Basic computer skills and ability to navigate patient accounting applications
• Typing speed of at least 45 words per minute
• Intermediate understanding of insurance processes, including Commercial, Managed Care, Medicare, and Medicaid
