Follow Up Associate
Job Summary
A company is looking for a Follow Up Associate responsible for investigating denials for DME and infusion accounts.
Key Responsibilities
- Investigate and examine sources of denials using knowledge of charge master, DME, and billing
- Work closely with third party payers to resolve unpaid claims and prove medical necessity
- Collaborate with Appeals staff to obtain pertinent information in a timely manner
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma
- 1-2 years of revenue cycle experience (billing, follow-up, etc.)
- Knowledge of legal parameters related to State and Federal laws regarding EOBs
- Experience with computer systems, processes, and policies relevant to the role
