Follow Up Associate

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Follow Up Associate responsible for investigating denials for DME and infusion accounts.

Key Responsibilities

• Investigate and examine sources of denials using knowledge of charge master, DME, and billing
• Work closely with third party payers to resolve unpaid claims and prove medical necessity
• Collaborate with Appeals staff to obtain pertinent information in a timely manner

Required Qualifications

• High School diploma
• 1-2 years of revenue cycle experience (billing, follow-up, etc.)
• Knowledge of legal parameters related to State and Federal laws regarding EOBs
• Experience with computer systems, processes, and policies relevant to the role
