Follow Up Associate

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Follow Up Associate, Commercial.

Key Responsibilities

• Investigate and examine denied medical claims using knowledge of medical terminology, diagnostic and procedure codes, and commercial insurance
• Read and interpret expected reimbursement information from EOBs and understand legal parameters related to state and federal law
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to resolve unpaid claims and obtain necessary information promptly

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent
• Work experience in a hospital setting with knowledge of health insurance and medical claims billing
• Ability to learn new processes and make informed, complex decisions
• Experience working both independently and as part of a team
