Job Summary
To enhance operational efficiency, the full-time Follow Up Team Lead will oversee the Follow Up team, manage daily workflows, and collaborate with Follow Up Managers in a remote setting.
Key responsibilities:
- Manage team operations, including monitoring productivity and conducting training for new and existing employees
- Oversee workflow management by monitoring aging claims, ensuring production goals are met, and resolving AR issues
- Report directly to Follow Up Managers, alerting them to critical issues and processing appeals on denied claims
Required qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree in healthcare administration or related field preferred
- 1-2 years of experience in Accounts Receivable Follow-Up
- Experience with Professional CMS 1500 Billing and various billing systems
- Knowledge of billing requirements for multiple states and familiarity with commercial and government payers
- Strong analytical skills and leadership abilities
