Job Summary

Seeking a creative and experienced Staff Writer, the full-time position will cover food culture, producing engaging stories on culinary trends, food science, and societal impacts, based in New York City or Washington, D.C., with remote candidates also considered.

Key responsibilities

• Produce compelling stories on diverse food-related topics, including trends and cultural implications
• Conduct thorough research and interviews to develop original ideas and narratives
• Work collaboratively with editors and sources to ensure high-quality reporting and adherence to journalistic standards

Required qualifications
