Foreclosure Specialist

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Foreclosure Specialist II responsible for managing the foreclosure process for mortgage loans.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor and manage the foreclosure process from referral to post-foreclosure, addressing issues and delays
• Communicate with foreclosure attorneys to resolve contested actions and ensure timely completion of foreclosures
• Generate reports and provide necessary documentation to investors and regulatory bodies during the foreclosure process

Required Qualifications

• A combined 3 years of higher education and/or work experience, including 1 year in Default Servicing
• Working knowledge of word processing and spreadsheet software
• Experience in Default Servicing related fields such as Collections, REO, or Loss Mitigation is preferred
• Understanding of mortgage products, including home equity loans and lines of credit
• Experience with legal document comprehension is beneficial
