Foreclosure Specialist

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Specialist, Foreclose III.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage past due and approaching standard foreclosure cases, ensuring compliance with investor guidelines
• Prepare complex reports and provide management with status updates on foreclosure processes
• Act as a liaison between the company and outside counsel to ensure accurate completion of the foreclosure process

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree from a four-year college or university, or equivalent experience in mortgage servicing
• 1-2 years of related experience or training in foreclosure laws and terminology
• 7+ years of working knowledge of foreclosure processes and compliance standards
• Familiarity with software such as Fiserv/Loanserv and Microsoft Word
• Understanding of federal and state laws related to mortgage banking, including RESPA and FDCPA
