Foreclosure Specialist

Job Summary

Working remotely in a full-time capacity, the Foreclosure Specialist will manage foreclosure cases, ensuring compliance with investor guidelines and preparing complex reports while acting as a liaison between the company and outside counsel.

Key responsibilities

• Managing past due and approaching standard foreclosure cases, ensuring compliance with investor guidelines
• Executing financial foreclosure documents and maintaining accurate documentation of actions taken throughout the foreclosure process
• Coordinating with various departments to secure and maintain properties while preparing bidding instructions for foreclosure sales

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree from a four-year college or university, or equivalent experience in foreclosure
• 3-5 years of working knowledge of foreclosure laws and terminology
• Proficiency in software such as Fiserv/Loanserv, Microsoft Word, and LPS Desktop
• Ability to interpret complex documents and write routine reports
• Strong understanding of RESPA, FDCPA, and federal and state laws related to legal processes
