Foreclosure Specialist III

Job Summary

Managing a portfolio of loans involved in complex litigation, the full-time remote Foreclosure Specialist III will oversee the foreclosure process, ensuring compliance with investor guidelines and providing subject matter expertise while handling escalated issues.

Key responsibilities:

• Monitor foreclosure progress and ensure compliance with state, federal, and investor guidelines
• Serve as the primary escalation contact for team members and external attorneys
• Conduct regular reviews of assigned loans and maintain documentation and reporting on legal expenses

Required qualifications:

• A combined 4 years of higher education and/or work experience, including 2 years in Default Servicing
• Working knowledge of word processing and spreadsheet software
• Experience in training new staff and implementing procedural changes
• Understanding of mortgage products, including home equity loans and lines of credit
• Proven leadership ability in a team environment
