Foreign Claims Processor

Job Summary

Processing all MVH overseas claims from receipt through resolution, the part-time Foreign Claims Processor will work remotely to ensure compliance with MVH regulations and guidelines, utilizing expertise in coordination of benefits and claims development.

Key responsibilities

• Process various types of overseas claims, determining corrective actions for errors and resolving interactive edits
• Research and verify claims information to ensure all requirements are met, including selecting correct procedure and diagnosis codes
• Update patient/sponsor files and add successful development information to records via PC

Required qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED or equivalent experience
• U.S. citizenship due to Department of Defense restrictions
• One or more years of experience in a claims processing role
• Proficiency in data entry with a strong focus on accuracy
• Ability to utilize resources effectively to research and verify claims
