Foreign Systems Interface Analyst

Job Summary

Working remotely, the full-time salaried Foreign Systems Interface Senior Analyst will oversee technical planning and installation of Cerner interfaces, manage complex projects, and troubleshoot interface issues while collaborating with internal stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the technical planning and oversight of interface installation and configuration of Cerner Open Engine, HL7, and EDI transactions
• Consult with internal project stakeholders to share configuration status, project timelines, and updates while verifying configuration requests
• Support interface validation, testing, deployment, and documentation throughout the project lifecycle

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field
• At least 6 years of combined related work experience and higher education, including experience with integration engines and HL7/X12 standards
• Proficiency in Cerner Command Language (CCL) or SQL programming
• Hands-on experience with interoperability standards such as HL7, CDA, CCD, JSON, and FHIR
• Experience with SOAP and/or RESTful API connection projects
