Job Summary
To support doctoral students in their academic journey, the part-time Forensic Psychology Adjunct Faculty will chair and serve on dissertation committees as methodologists and content experts, while also potentially instructing courses and providing timely feedback in a remote environment.
Key responsibilities
- Chair and serve on doctoral dissertation committees, offering methodological and content expertise
- Instruct courses and engage with students through an online learning platform, ensuring timely feedback and communication
- Participate in required training and maintain availability for student support outside of course discussions
Required qualifications
- Ph.D. in Forensic Psychology or a related field from an accredited institution
- Preferred forensic experience at the doctoral level and proof of serving on doctoral committees for at least one year
- Evidence of scholarly work within the past five years, proficient in APA 7th edition
- Strong background in research methodology, particularly in quantitative methods
- At least 1,000 hours of direct forensic experience over five years or completion of a 2,000-hour formal postdoctoral fellowship in forensic psychology
