Job Summary

A company is looking for a Forensic Underwriter.

Key Responsibilities

• Re-underwrite closed loan files to ensure compliance with agency or lender guidelines
• Review compliance documentation for adherence to federal and state laws
• Investigate potential fraud through document verification and analysis

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years' underwriting experience in manual and automated environments
• Knowledge of FNMA, FHLMC, FHA, VA, and USDA guidelines
• Understanding of transaction components indicating potential fraud
• Experience with Ellie Mae Encompass is preferred
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
