Forensic Underwriting Team Lead

Job Summary

Leading a team of Forensic Underwriters, the full-time remote Forensic Underwriting Team Lead will manage day-to-day operations, support team members in resolving post-closing conditions on loans, and ensure productivity while collaborating with management on escalated issues.

Key responsibilities:

• Manage daily tasks and provide guidance to the Forensic Underwriting Team
• Serve as the first-level escalation point for loan-level inquiries and assist with file reviews
• Monitor team performance metrics and suggest process improvements for efficiency and compliance

Required qualifications:

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• 2+ years of experience in a Team Lead or senior role
• Experience in addressing investor conditions and exceptions
• Knowledge of regulatory rules and guidelines related to Agency, Non-Agency, Bond, and Non-QM loans
• Proficiency in Encompass and Microsoft Office Suite preferred
