Forensic Underwriting Team Lead

Job Summary

Leading a team of Forensic Underwriters, the full-time remote Forensic Underwriting Team Lead will oversee daily operations, manage escalations, and ensure timely resolution of loan conditions during the purchase review process.

Key responsibilities:

• Manage day-to-day tasks and loan assignments for the Forensic Underwriting Team
• Serve as the first level escalation point for team inquiries and additional file reviews
• Monitor performance metrics and report on documentation accuracy and compliance

Required qualifications:

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• 2+ years of experience in a Team Lead or senior role
• Experience addressing investor conditions and exceptions
• Familiarity with Encompass and knowledge of regulatory rules and guidelines
• Understanding of Agency, Non-Agency, Bond, and Non-QM guidelines
