Forensics Subject Matter Expert

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Forensics SME to join their growing team and innovative cybersecurity team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide incident management support, guidance, and expertise to the Incident Response Team and SOC components
• Perform forensic analysis on various network, host, digital media, and operating systems/environments
• Prepare detailed written technical reports covering forensic investigation methodology, findings, and recommendations

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree or greater in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Systems Engineering
• 8+ years of specialized experience in incident response, APT management, forensic analysis, and handling evidentiary data
• Experience in performing IR, Forensics, and post-mortem reports in cloud environments (AWS preferred)
• Ability to identify malware characteristics and conduct reverse engineering in x86 and x64 assembly
• Strong knowledge of malware code and behavioral analysis
