Forward-Deployed AI Data Engineer
Job Summary
Experienced in deploying AI solutions within complex data environments, the full-time Forward-Deployed AI Data Engineer will lead technical onboarding and implementation, build and troubleshoot data workflows, and serve as the primary technical contact for client accounts, all while working remotely.
Key responsibilities
- Lead technical onboarding and implementation from data environment discovery through production deployment
- Build, configure, and troubleshoot data connectors, pipelines, and AI agent workflows inside client environments
- Develop implementation playbooks from each engagement to streamline future projects
Required qualifications
- 4-8 years of experience in data engineering with direct deployment or customer exposure
- Fluency in SQL and proficiency in Python, with experience in API integrations
- Hands-on experience building or deploying AI agent workflows
- Familiarity with enterprise data environments, including CRMs and legacy pipelines
- Strong understanding of unstructured data challenges and a focus on output over code elegance
