Forward Deployed Engineer
Job Summary
Working remotely on a freelance basis, the Forward Deployed Engineer will lead technical solutioning for clients, bridging content, design, and engineering to deliver AI-enabled content platforms while engaging in hands-on development and prototyping.
Key responsibilities
- Partner with clients to shape and validate technical solutions for content modernization and GenAI enablement
- Design and build proof-of-concepts, implementing front-end integrations with headless CMS/DAM platforms
- Integrate AI-assisted features into content systems while ensuring accessibility and performance standards are met
Required qualifications
- Senior-level, hands-on engineering experience with strong front-end fundamentals (HTML, CSS, JavaScript/TypeScript; React/Next.js preferred)
- Experience integrating headless CMS/DAM platforms (e.g., Contentful, AEM Headless, Sitecore)
- Practical experience with LLMs, RAG patterns, or AI-driven workflows
- Comfort designing APIs and data contracts, with experience in a client-facing consulting role
- Understanding of evaluation metrics and considerations for AI systems, including privacy and accessibility
