Forward Deployed Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Forward Deployed Engineer (FDE).

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the end-to-end lifecycle of AI deployment for manufacturing clients
• Act as the primary technical advisor and point of contact for customer operations and IT teams
• Integrate AI vision systems with various operational and cloud platforms

Required Qualifications

• 6+ years of experience in production software engineering and industrial automation/applied AI
• Experience in deploying and supporting production software systems in customer environments
• Proficient in Python development and familiar with Linux, Docker, and Git
• Experience with cloud deployment on platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP
• Knowledge of networking fundamentals for industrial deployments
