Forward Deployed Engineer

Job Summary

Forward Deployed Engineer, a full-time role focused on hands-on implementation, automation, and solution engineering to help enterprise customers adopt API and AI connectivity platforms.

Key Responsibilities

• Partner with enterprise customers to design and implement Kong-based solutions across various environments
• Lead implementation efforts for API gateways, AI gateways, and related connectivity technologies
• Build automation frameworks and migration tooling to simplify customer adoption and modernization efforts

Required Qualifications

• 8+ years in customer-facing engineering, platform engineering, or software engineering roles
• Strong hands-on experience with API gateways and distributed systems platforms
• Expertise in Kubernetes and cloud-native infrastructure
• Experience with major cloud providers such as AWS, Azure, or GCP
• Programming experience in languages like Python, Go, Java, or JavaScript
