Forward Deployed Engineer

Job Summary

Forward Deployed Engineer, a full-time position focused on hands-on implementation, automation, and solution engineering to assist enterprise customers in adopting an API and AI connectivity platform.

Key Responsibilities

• Partner with enterprise customers to design and implement Kong-based solutions across various environments
• Lead implementation efforts for API gateways, AI gateways, and related technologies
• Develop automation frameworks and migration tooling to facilitate customer modernization efforts

Required Qualifications

• 8+ years in customer-facing engineering, platform engineering, or software engineering roles
• Strong hands-on software engineering and implementation experience
• Experience with API gateways, cloud-native infrastructure, and Kubernetes
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Go, Java, or JavaScript
• Experience with major cloud providers like AWS, Azure, or GCP
