Forward Deployed Engineer

Job Summary

Seeking a contract Forward Deployed Engineer who will engage closely with clients and product leaders to transform vague problems into concrete software solutions, utilizing AI as the core medium for development in a fully remote environment.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with business and clinical leaders to identify and define buildable software solutions
• Develop full stack applications and modular backends using Python or TypeScript, ensuring adherence to clean architecture principles
• Deploy and maintain applications in production environments while applying best engineering practices

Required qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in building production applications with AI and agentic development approaches
• Proficient in Python or TypeScript with a strong understanding of OOP, SOLID principles, and microservice architecture
• Experience with cloud-native deployment on platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Cloudflare using Docker and Kubernetes
• Demonstrated ability to work with vector databases and retrieval pipelines
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Machine Learning, or a related technical discipline
