Forward Deployed Engineer

Job Summary

Seeking a contract Forward Deployed Engineer who will work remotely to transform vague problems into concrete software solutions, rapidly build applications using AI technologies, and manage end-to-end deployment and production processes.

Key responsibilities

• Engage with business and clinical leaders to clarify and prototype software solutions based on their needs
• Develop full stack applications and modular backends using Python and TypeScript, adhering to best practices in architecture
• Oversee the deployment and productionization of applications, ensuring robust performance and operational reliability

Required qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in building production applications with AI and agentic development
• Proficiency in Python or TypeScript, with a strong understanding of OOP, SOLID principles, and microservice architecture
• Experience with cloud-native deployments on platforms like AWS, Azure, or Vercel using Docker and Kubernetes
• Demonstrated ability to implement vector databases and retrieval pipelines effectively
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Machine Learning, or a related technical field
