Forward Deployed Engineer

Job Summary

Seeking a Forward Deployed Engineer for a remote contract position who will transform ambiguous problems into production-ready software using AI, TypeScript, and Python, managing the entire development process from ideation to deployment.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with business and clinical leaders to clarify ideas and create buildable prototypes within a week
• Develop fullstack applications and modular backends, integrating AI tools and frameworks for production-grade solutions
• Oversee deployment and productionization processes, ensuring robust infrastructure and operational reliability

Required qualifications

• 3+ years of experience building production applications using AI and agentic development approaches
• Proficiency in Python or TypeScript, with experience in OOP, SOLID principles, and microservice architecture
• Hands-on experience with AI-assisted development tools and deployment on cloud platforms like AWS or Azure
• End-to-end implementation experience with vector databases and retrieval pipelines
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Machine Learning, or a related technical discipline
