Forward Deployed Engineer

Job Summary

Seeking a remote contract Forward Deployed Engineer who will transform ambiguous problems into production-ready software using AI, TypeScript, and Python, managing the entire process from ideation to deployment.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with business and clinical leaders to define and develop software solutions from vague concepts
• Build modular backends and fullstack applications utilizing modern frameworks and AI technologies
• Deploy and productionize applications while ensuring adherence to engineering best practices and performance standards

Required qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in building production applications with AI and agentic development approaches
• Proficient in Python or TypeScript, with experience in OOP, SOLID principles, and microservice architecture
• Hands-on experience with AI-assisted development tools and deployment on cloud platforms like AWS or Azure
• Demonstrated ability to implement vector databases and retrieval pipelines in production environments
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Machine Learning, or a related technical field
