Forward Deployed Engineer

Job Summary

Seeking a remote contract Forward Deployed Engineer, the successful candidate will transform ambiguous problems into production-ready software using modern AI tooling, TypeScript, and Python, while managing the entire development process from ideation to deployment.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with business and clinical leaders to define and build software solutions from vague concepts
• Develop full-stack applications and modular backends utilizing Python and TypeScript, adhering to clean architecture principles
• Oversee the deployment and productionization of applications, ensuring robust infrastructure and operational practices

Required qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in building production applications with AI and agentic development approaches
• Proficiency in Python or TypeScript, with experience in developing applications using frameworks like Next.js and FastAPI
• Hands-on experience with AI-assisted development tools and deploying applications on cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure
• Strong understanding of vector databases and retrieval pipelines, with end-to-end implementation experience
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Machine Learning, or a related technical discipline
