Forward Deployed Engineer

Job Summary

Seeking a Forward Deployed Engineer for a remote contract position who will engage directly with clients to transform abstract problems into concrete solutions, rapidly develop software using AI technologies, and oversee the end-to-end deployment of production-grade applications.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with business and clinical leaders to define and prototype software solutions
• Build full stack applications and modular backends using Python or TypeScript, ensuring adherence to clean architecture principles
• Deploy and maintain applications on cloud platforms while implementing best engineering practices for production readiness

Required qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in building production applications using AI and agentic development approaches
• Proficiency in Python or TypeScript, with experience in OOP, SOLID principles, and microservice architecture
• Hands-on experience with AI-assisted development tools and multi-step agent workflows
• Cloud-native deployment experience with AWS, Azure, Cloudflare, or Vercel, including containerization and CI/CD
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Machine Learning, or a related technical discipline
