Forward Deployed Engineer

Job Summary

Seeking a remote contract Forward Deployed Engineer who will reframe client problems into actionable software solutions, build production-grade applications using AI and modern programming languages, and manage end-to-end deployment processes in a fast-paced environment.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with business and clinical leaders to translate ambiguous ideas into concrete, buildable software solutions
• Develop modular backends and full-stack applications using Python or TypeScript, ensuring adherence to clean architecture principles
• Oversee the deployment and productionization of applications, applying best engineering practices and mentoring team members

Required qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in building production applications using AI and agentic development approaches
• Proficiency in Python or TypeScript with experience in OOP, SOLID principles, and microservice architecture
• Hands-on experience with AI-assisted development tools and frameworks such as Next.js and Fast API
• Experience with cloud-native deployments on platforms like AWS, Azure, or Vercel using Docker and Kubernetes
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Machine Learning, or a related technical field
