Forward Deployed Engineer

Job Summary

Seeking a remote contract Forward Deployed Engineer, this role focuses on building AI-driven software by transforming ambiguous problems into production-ready solutions using TypeScript and Python, while managing the entire development process from ideation to deployment.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with business and clinical leaders to clarify ideas and create working prototypes
• Develop fullstack applications and modular backends using modern frameworks and AI tools
• Deploy and productionize applications while ensuring best practices in coding, testing, and security

Required qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in building production applications using AI and agentic development approaches
• Proficiency in Python or TypeScript with a strong understanding of OOP, SOLID principles, and microservice architecture
• Hands-on experience with AI-assisted development tools and cloud-native deployment
• Experience with vector databases, retrieval pipelines, and end-to-end implementation of AI solutions
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Machine Learning, or a related technical discipline
